Financial Policy & Dental Insurance
In order to keep our billing costs at a minimum and continue to offer high quality Dental care at affordable prices, payment is expected at the time services are rendered. As a courtesy to our patients who have insurance, we will send a claim to your insurance company for services rendered. Regardless of whether your insurance company pays or not, you are responsible for the balance. We allow interest free payments for up to 90 days; however these arrangements must be made with us in advance. After that we will be happy to offer the following payment options:
- VISA, MasterCard and Discover
- Care Credit, a low interest health care line of credit.
- (9.9% annual for up to 48 months)
- If payment is not made in full according to these terms a 12% annual interest rate will be added to your account until your account is paid in full.
Your Dental health is our priority. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
Dental Insurance Information
A common question that new patients often ask us is if we accept their dental insurance at The Dentists South Shore. The answer to this question is almost always, “yes.” There are many companies that provide insurance benefits for their employees and there are several ways to purchase private dental insurance.
The Dentist South Shore also has many patients that pay for their dental treatment themselves. Dental exams and cleanings may be less expensive than you think. At our office we also have several financial options available to our patients. Prior to starting any dental treatment we print an estimate to show our patients what their benefit will cover.
The Dentist South Shore also accepts several preferred provider plans. If you have a PPO and are interested in becoming a patient at The Dentist South Shore give us a call and we will help you determine your benefits. Sue and Ronda are excellent resources for questions regarding dental insurance and benefits. They take the time to make our patients concerns a priority.
Here are some common dental insurance companies we work with:
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield
